Traditionally, the summer months have brought a slightly slower pace at ALS Private, with skiing always at the heart of what we do. However, as we've grown to support our clients year-round with bespoke global travel, the summer months have become a dynamic and exciting time. From crafting inspiring escapes and planning exclusive events to visiting exceptional properties and building relationships with our partners - our team have been busier than ever.

This autumn marks an exciting new chapter for ALS Private, with a growing team, new collaborations with standout properties, superyachts and destinations, and our recent membership with The Conscious Travel Foundation to name a few developments. We’re stepping into the season with momentum - and with more purpose than ever.
We’re noticing some fascinating shifts in travel trends among our clients. In particular, there’s been a growing demand for corporate off-site retreats, both in snow and sun destinations - and we absolutely love bringing these experiences to life. This autumn and winter, we’re thrilled to be managing corporate trips to exciting locations including Scotland, Singapore, St Anton and St. Moritz.

When it comes to private travel, we're seeing a clear rise in the demand for ‘slow travel’ - where ‘quiet luxury’ and authentic, meaningful experiences take centre stage. More of our clients are seeking health-focused getaways centered on well-being, or immersive journeys that connect them with local culture - whether through food, art or tradition. These thoughtful experiences are increasingly taking precedence over high-energy, fast-paced itineraries.
‘Quiet luxury’ is replacing grand gestures with curated, more authentic experiences. This is especially appealing to clients who, like us, value sustainability and ethical travel.
With regards to location trends, ski resorts are increasingly transforming into year-round sanctuaries rather than just winter destinations. Properties like the newly renovated Rosa Alpina - which we’re thrilled has now reopened, alongside Refuge de la Traye in Méribel, The Chedi Andermatt, and The Lodge in Verbier exemplify this change by offering exceptional experiences throughout the year. I was lucky enough to spend some time in the Alps this summer for the first time (rather than in the snow), and the mountains exceeded all expectations as a summer destination.

On the ski front, Val d’Isère’s popularity is ever-soaring, thanks to its genuine charm, exciting new property openings, varied ski terrain, and an elevated standard of hospitality that meets a wide range of needs. The Dolomites remain a top destination of interest, with the upcoming 2026 Winter Olympics in Cortina only set to boost its allure even further.
This summer, some of our clients enjoyed the Dolomites as a ‘sun’ destination too, and beyond the Alps, we’ve been arranging remarkable adventures to lesser-explored destinations such as Greenland, alongside some of our all-time favourites in Provence, Croatia, and Mallorca.
Building on our Snow and Sun offerings, we’re equally excited to offer ‘Sea’. We’ve carefully expanded our superyacht portfolio to include exceptional expedition yachts and remote, off-the-grid vessels. Through our exciting new partnership with EYOS Expeditions, renowned pioneers in luxury exploration, we’re able to offer clients unrivalled journeys from Antarctica to Papua New Guinea. Clients looking for truly once-in-a-lifetime, luxury exploration experiences, delivered with expert guidance, are in the very best hands.
