Courchevel

Courchevel, part of the largest ski area in the world, is a place to see and to be seen. It is, without doubt, France's premier resort. The valley of Courchevel provides 150km of downhill pistes serviced by 62 chairlifts. Famous for its snowfall, its north facing pistes keeps the snow longer providing superb skiing from the start of the season to Easter. Serviced by over 450 staff, the Société des Trois Vallées maintains impeccable pistes that have contributed to the resorts reputation. With an emphasis on safety, there is an avalanche protection system, 563 snow cannons and 26 piste bashers for the 119 pistes.

As part of the Trois Vallées, with over 600kms of prepared and maintained pistes, you can discover scenery from the Mont Blanc Massif to views of the Swiss and Italian Alps. You can ski the Pointe de Thorens glacier at 3266m by way of the fast and efficient new hands free ski lift system. Additionally there is 66 kms of cross country ski runs through the forest of Courchevel alone!
